Speak Up For The Forests

Make Your Voice Heard

East Gippsland holds the last great forest corridor in mainland Australia — stretching from the Alps to the sea. These forests safeguard our water, store carbon, shelter threatened species, and hold deep cultural significance.

East Gippsland’s forests are the last unbroken corridor from the Alps to the sea.

We want to see these values protected for the long term by:

  • Continuing investment in the Sea to Summit initiative

  • Supporting complementary conservation economy projects in the region like the Valley of the Giants

  • Complete the review of the Public Land Act to modernise land protections and management approaches

Minister Dimopoulos needs to hear that communities want this vision delivered. The more voices calling for action, the stronger the case for lasting protections and local jobs.
